In Memoriam: Spencer Dinwiddie, Jose Calderon

Chicago Bulls News

The Bulls have had a lot of coming and going in the past two weeks. Derrick Rose and Noah headline the going as Dwayne Wade and Rajon Rondo represent the coming. In the blockbuster trade with the Knicks, the Bulls sent Derrick Rose and Justin Holiday to the Knickerbockers for Sideshow Bob, Jerian Grant, and Jose Calderon. To make way for Dwayne Wade, Jose Calderon was sent to the Lakers to clear cap space according to Adrian Wojnarowski from the Vertical.

In a lesser known trade, Bulls sent future Hall of Famer Cameron Bairstow to the Pistons for guard Spencer Dwinwiddie who was later waived on Thursday.

Dinwiddie made his playoff debut this year against the soon-to-be NBA Champion Cavs where he averaged a point a minute (Two points in two minutes of play). So to Calderon and Dinwiddie, goodbye sweet princes, we barely knew thee, in other words, who the hell cares.
